Lawanna is a native of Florida and currently resides near the oldest city in the United States, Saint Augustine. Her personal relationship with Jesus Christ began at an early age. Her parents encouraged her to attend and participate in church activities. Furthermore, she learned that the Lord loves children and desires to keep them close. Mathew 19:14 (KJV) says, “But Jesus said suffer little children, and forbid the not, to come unto me for of such is the king-dom of Heaven.”
While visiting a relative one summer, she learned about other attributes of the Lord and had a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit. Upon returning home, she decided to continue searching for a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and became a member of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) denomination.

Once acclimated with COGIC, Lawanna considered to venture into nondenominational churches and continued in those ministries. She understands that there is a place for everyone regardless of economic status, color, gender, or ethnicity. God will meet us where we are and lead us to ministries that will connect us to purpose and destiny.
Lawanna has two master’s degrees: education leadership with emphasis in curriculum development and counseling. She values time spent with family and friends, especially during special holidays. Lawanna has been inspired by the Holy Spirit to write poems and books and will continue this journey as the Lord provides inspiration and direction.
